KWM Welcomes Michelle Scholl and Audrey Shinn

Kembell Woods & Martinsen LLP (KWM), a leading boutique law firm focused on estate planning, administration, and litigation, is pleased to announce that Michelle Scholl and Audrey Shinn have joined the firm as associate attorneys.


Michelle Scholl joins the firm in its Liberty office. Her practice focuses on fiduciary litigation, probate and trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships, and estate planning. She comes to KWM after serving as a probate law clerk in the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, where she worked closely with judges on contested probate and trust matters, including will contests, trust disputes, and guardianship proceedings. Her experience provides valuable insight into estate administration and the resolution of fiduciary disputes. Michelle earned her J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and holds dual undergraduate degrees from Arizona State University. She is licensed in Missouri and Kansas.


Audrey Shinn joins the firm in its Springfield office. Her practice focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and related tax and business planning matters. Prior to joining KWM, Audrey practiced at regional and national law firms, where she represented employers and financial institutions in complex litigation involving fiduciary duties, compliance obligations, and contractual disputes. She also served as a judicial law clerk, assisting in the drafting of court decisions on dispositive motions and post-trial matters. Audrey earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Chicago. She is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois and has been recognized as a Fellow of the National Employment Law Council Academy.
