In addition to his client work, Scott is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and has held numerous leadership roles within the profession, including serving as Kansas State Chair of ACTEC and as Chair of the Missouri Bar’s Probate and Trust Law Committee. He is a frequent author and lecturer on estate planning and fiduciary law topics for professional organizations and bar associations.
Scott earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was a member of the Notre Dame Law Review, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota.
