Kembell Woods & Martinsen LLP (KWM), a leading boutique law firm in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and fiduciary litigation across Missouri and Kansas, proudly welcomes Brynne C. Brown.
Brynne has significant experience in estate planning, taxation, and business law. Her practice reflects a thoughtful, detail‑oriented approach to helping clients navigate complex estate planning and business matters with confidence and care.
“I am thrilled to join KWM,” Brynne said. “The firm’s commitment to collaboration, efficiency, and innovation —each enhancing the overall client experience— aligns with how I endeavor to practice law. I am honored to serve clients as a member of the KWM team.”
Brynne advises clients on a wide range of transactional matters. She counsels individuals and families on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and estate, gift, and income taxation. She also represents individuals, for-profit and non-profit entities, with business formation, choice of entity decisions, succession planning, and general governance matters.
In addition to private practice, Brynne has served as Trust Counsel of a bank managed trust company, where she advised on the administration of estates, trusts, and foundations. This experience gave her a practical understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and the duties placed on fiduciaries, individual and corporate, in complex estate and trust matters.
“Brynne’s background as a private practitioner and in-house counsel adds meaningful depth to our team,” said John Challis, Managing Partner of KWM. “Her technical skill, in both estate planning and business, and practical insight strengthen our ability to serve clients with sophisticated planning and thoughtful guidance.”
Brynne’s addition to KWM reflects the firm’s continued commitment to providing clients with high‑caliber legal counsel delivered with care, precision, and a deep understanding of the issues families and fiduciaries face.
