Alice focuses her practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and tax‑driven wealth transfer planning. She advises individuals, families, and fiduciaries on a wide range of matters, from foundational estate plans to sophisticated estate, gift, and generation‑skipping transfer tax strategies.
Alice regularly represents individual and institutional fiduciaries in trust and probate administration in Kansas and Missouri, including matters involving complex estates, trust modifications, and post‑mortem planning. She has extensive experience guiding clients through advanced planning and administration issues and is known for providing practical, thoughtful solutions tailored to each client’s goals.
Alice is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and is actively involved in the trust and estate profession as a writer, speaker, and bar leader, and has presented frequently on estate planning and fiduciary topics. Alice has also contributed to the development of trust legislation in Missouri.
