Experience
Rochelle B. Falk is an attorney with Kirkland, Woods and Martinsen. Her practice focuses on estate planning, probate, estate administration, and fiduciary litigation. Before joining Kirkland, Woods and Martinsen, Rochelle was an attorney at Dysart, Taylor, Cotter, McMonigle & Montemore, P.C. Rochelle earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Rockhurst University and a J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she is also pursuing an L.L.M in Taxation. She served as President of the UMKC Estates & Trusts Society from 2013 to 2015 and received the UMB Bank Excellence in Estate Planning Award in 2016. She is licensed to practice in Missouri and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Rochelle is active in many professional organizations in the Greater Kansas City Metro Area. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area, and the Mid-America Planned Giving Counsel. She and her husband have three beautiful children. Rochelle is an active member of her community and her children's activities. Rochelle has served the Academie Lafayette Public Charter School as a parent volunteer since 2010 where she was a founding member of "Generation's Day" and served as committee chair in 2012. She was also a school auction volunteer and served on the Conseil d'Ecole Executive Advisory Board from 2012 to 2013. She has served the Teamwork Sports KC Waldo Thunder Softball and Baseball Club since 2014 as a parent volunteer, coach, and fundraiser. She served the Calvary Lutheran Early Education Center from 2008 to 2015 as a room parent and school auction volunteer, and was a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children from 2002 to 2003 in San Mateo and Santa Clara, California counties.
