Brandon M. Oldham is an attorney with Kirkland Woods & Martinsen LLP, specializing in estate planning for high net worth families, trust and probate administration, business succession planning and tax strategy. Prior to joining the firm, Brandon spent three years practicing law in the estate planning group at a Kansas City law firm and one year practicing family law in San Francisco, California. Brandon received his Juris Doctor degree, as well as an LL.M. in Taxation, from the University of San Francisco, where he received recognition as the top student in his LL.M. program . While there, Brandon interned for two international law firms, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and Reed Smith, in their overseas offices in Beijing, China. Before beginning his legal career, Brandon served six years in the United States Army, with one tour in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan. During that time, he worked as an intelligence advisor for National Security Agency receiving an award in July of 2010 for being recognized as the top intelligence advisor in Iraq. Brandon was recently recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America 2024 in the field of Trusts and Estates.
